This role functions as a centralized “family office quarterback,” overseeing the coordination, visibility, and optimization of personal and family financial matters.

The ideal candidate brings both strong technical financial acumen and sound judgment, with the ability to simplify complexity, anticipate needs, and ensure seamless execution across a network of advisors and investments.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Visibility & Reporting:

  • Coordinate distributions, major expenditures, and tax obligations.
  • Ensure efficient capital allocation and liquidity planning.
Tax Strategy Coordination:
  • Partner closely with external CPA to ensure proactive tax strategies are implemented effectively.
  • Maintain oversight of tax timelines, filings, and estimated payments.
  • Identify opportunities for increased tax efficiency and structural optimization.
Investment & Deal Support:
  • Evaluate investment opportunities including real estate, private investments, and business ventures.
  • Build straightforward financial models and return analyses.
  • Support diligence efforts and provide clear recommendations.
Risk Management & Asset Protection:
  • Coordinate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support legal and structural planning in collaboration with outside counsel.
Advisor Coordination:
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across CPA, legal, insurance, and investment partners.
  • Ensure alignment, accountability, and follow-through across all advisors.
Organization & Infrastructure:
  • Establish and maintain clean financial systems, documentation, and reporting processes.
  • Organize entity structures, accounts, and key financial records.
Selective Travel:
Occasional travel may be required to support investment diligence, advisor meetings, or to represent the principal in select financial matters.

What This Role Is Not:
  • This is not a corporate finance or operational role within the business.
  • This is not a tax preparation role.
  • This is not an administrative or assistant position.
Qualifications:
  • 7–15+ years of experience in family office, private client services, or high-net-worth financial management.
  • Strong understanding of tax strategy, entity structuring, and investments.
  • Experience supporting founders, executives, or high-net-worth individuals.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and ownership.
  • Ability to operate independently while maintaining strong communication.
